Golden Light Program w/Sippican Lands Trust
June 20, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
For photographers and sunset enthusiasts alike, Marian Howell, SLT Board member, will meet a limited number of parties (for a total of 10 or fewer participants) that will wear masks when together and spread out during the class at White Eagle’s bog. After a short introduction and orientation, we’ll spread out for an exploration of crepuscular life in the “golden light” of sunset. Please wear bug protection, we will cancel on web site and via email if inclement weather.
Sign up at sippicanlandstrust.setmore.com – group size limited to meet guidelines for outdoor education programs in response to COVID.
We will meet at the relatively large open area by the blue storage barn at the bog. The White Eagle property is located off of Route 6 in Marion. Turn onto Parlowtown Road across from the town cemetery and follow the road until you reach the cul-de-sac. You can park here and walk the very bumpy road down about ¾ mile or veer left on the dirt road and follow past and cranberry bog on your right. Parking is available directly past the bog and along the dirt roadside. The kiosk is a short walk beyond.
